Qualification

Case selection protects time, budget and reputation.

Not every complex situation requires a long project. Sometimes the right step is to obtain one document, wait for another decision or consciously decline the matter.

GO

We most often accept matters where:

  • the property or share can be clearly identified
  • the obstacle concerns ownership, inheritance, co-ownership or entitled persons
  • there is realistic economic value or an important estate objective
  • documents or reliable sources can be obtained
  • the client is ready to provide basic information and cooperate
HOLD

We mark a matter HOLD when:

  • a key document is missing
  • another proceeding may change the situation
  • the client’s objective or scope is not yet clear
  • another specialist must act first
NO GO

We recommend NO GO when:

  • cost and risk are disproportionate to value
  • there is no credible basis for action
  • the expected outcome is legally or factually unrealistic
  • the matter requires only a service HEREDITAS does not provide
