1. Cookies and localStorage

Cookies are small items stored on or read from a user’s device. The website may also use localStorage, browser storage that works similarly but is not automatically sent with every request.

2. Mechanisms used

The public website does not install Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, advertising pixels or profiling tools. It uses only mechanisms necessary for WordPress operation, security, form handling and remembering that the information notice was closed.

After clicking “Understood”, localStorage may store hereditas_cookie_notice_seen_v1 with value 1. It remains until the user clears site data. It is not used for behavioural analytics or marketing.

The WhatsApp button is an ordinary external link. The website does not load WhatsApp/Meta scripts or pixels. Data may be transferred to WhatsApp only after the user clicks the button and enters that service.

3. WordPress cookies

WordPress may set technical cookies mainly for logged-in administrators to maintain sessions and panel settings. Ordinary visitors do not need to log in. Form security may use technical identifiers or tokens necessary to prevent abuse.

4. Legal basis

Strictly necessary mechanisms for the service, security and remembering user settings are used without separate consent to the extent allowed by Polish electronic communications law. Closing the notice is not marketing consent because no analytics or marketing tools are used.

5. Server logs

Independently of cookies, the server may create technical logs containing IP address, time, URL, browser and error information. They are used for security, diagnostics and availability. See the Privacy Policy for details.

6. Management

Users can remove or block cookies and localStorage in browser settings. Blocking technical elements may limit the form, notice preference or administration panel.

Clearing localStorage will cause the notice to be displayed again.

7. Future changes

If analytics, marketing, embedded maps or videos or other non-essential identifiers are added, an appropriate prior consent mechanism will be implemented and the documentation updated before activation.
